BI Consultant for Acceleration Nordic
On behalf of Acceleration Nordic, we are currently seeking an analytical, data-driven, and entrepreneurial Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to work with data visualization, data platforms, data engineering and BI, to join a team of Consultants and drive increased marketing effectiveness for some of Sweden’s and the world’s largest brands.

In the position as BI Consultant, you will enter the BI Solutions team that develops and maintains highly scalable products, such as Brand, Media Evaluation, or Media Investment Tracking tools, as well as custom Marketing dashboards. Being part of the BI Solutions team means being part of the whole process, and you will be included in the requirement specification gathering, both through workshops and client contact, designing wireframes and mockups, defining the logic and deployment of the data models, as well as building the dashboards. You will work closely with some of the Nordics’ largest advertisers, publishers, and technology companies, giving you the opportunity to learn, develop and grow, both on a professional and personal level.
In the BI Solutions team, you will get the opportunity to work with many large and international ambitious brands, together with a team that is passionate about digital marketing and with market-leading technologies. You will work in central premises at Birger Jarlsgatan with inspiring colleagues from different teams and backgrounds. Furthermore, you will report to Jakub Busek, Team Lead, BI Solutions. To succeed in the role, you preferably hold relevant experience within BI and Data, working with international clients, possessing excellent communication and presentation skills. Thus, you are emotionally intelligent and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders. You come from a relevant educational background, e.g., Bachelor’s degree or higher, within Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology (IT), Data, or similar. Further, having certifications or hands-on experience in SQL, Data Visualization, and Data management and related tools is not a must, but a plus. We imagine that you are comfortable with data in all its forms and find it easy to learn new systems and tools, and you enjoy developing a steep learning curve. Having knowledge of the media and marketing industry is an advantage, but not a must.
On a personal note, you are an entrepreneurial spirit; possessing an energetic and self-starting mentality, alongside a ‘go-get’ attitude. You are collaborative and thrive from working in teams yet being able to work independently in a structured and dedicated manner. You are open-minded and humble, being able to maintain an umbrella overview whilst keeping attention to details. You hold fluent English language proficiencies, and knowing Swedish is preferred.
More specifically, we imagine that you have:
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with Power BI
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Interest and flair for visualization and presentation of data
- Ability to travel in the Nordics
Additionally, it is seen as an advantage if you have experience in:
- Other Visualization Tools (Tableau, Locker Studio, Looker Pro, etc.)
- Power Platform, e.g., Power Automate and Power Apps
- Data Warehousing platforms (BiqQuery, Synapse, RedShift)
- Data Pipelines (Adverity, Supermetrics, Rivery)
- UX/UI experience
- Holding workshops and having client contact
