Head of Google Marketing Platform & Analytics for IIH Nordic
On behalf of IIH Nordic, we are looking for a Head of Google Marketing Platform & Analytics (GA4 premium) who wants to lead and be a vital member of a team that comprises talented digital professionals. As Head of Google Marketing Platform, you will be responsible for leading the Google Marketing Platform + GA4 premium sales, utilization, and the company’s Google Partner relationship.

It is IIH Nordic’s ambition for the near future to have Google as the main technology partner and to become the preferred Google partner for clients in the Nordics. As the new Head of Google Marketing Platform & Analytics, you will be a key driver of this agenda and your goal in this position is thus to grow the Google practice in IIH Nordic. You will have three main responsibilities: (1) to drive the ongoing dialogue with Google on the continued partnership and around products, (2) to drive commercial development in the Google Marketing Platform + GA4 area, and (3) to internally build a team that can drive execution as well as facilitates commercial success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving key GMP technology & data maturity across the IIH Nordic clients and practitioners
- Ownership of the IIH Nordic Go-To-Market positioning and working with other teams to align and include it within a broader analytics narrative
- Ensuring that IIH Nordic skills and capabilities are in line with market trends and relevant to emerging platforms/products
- Co-owning the licensing of GMP technologies including Google Analytics 360 / GA4, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360 and Optimize 360
- Managing the overall GMP resellers within IIH Nordic
- Leading a team that is responsible for both the operational execution as well as the commercial success
- Spearheading adoption and utilization of GMP among clients and colleagues
- Demonstrating thought leadership within digital marketing execution and activation
The ideal candidate has had former hands-on experience with online marketing/programmatic campaign executions for both B2C and B2B clients and can provide strategic consultancy, assessing the digital maturity of organizations. Additionally, you are well versed in online marketing performance analytics, have a considerable commercial understanding, and have extensive know-how of adtech, martech, and the agency landscape in general.
Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you have previous experience in leading at least a medium-sized client/team while maintaining an excellent all-around client service philosophy and a background from both the client/advertiser side as well as in media & CRM agencies. Moreover, you are eager to drive incremental marketing impact through measurement, analytics, and experiments in a cookieless world.
Personally, you are result-oriented, proactive, have an eye for the market and business, and stay on top of the latest trends in technology. You do not hesitate to try something new, and you love inspiring others to do tests and learn as well. Finally, you have strong communication and interpersonal capabilities, and have a passion for both technology and people.
