Head of Marketing for LIEWOOD
On behalf of LIEWOOD, we are currently looking for a strong and ambitious Head of Marketing, to lead the Marketing team and build LIEWOOD brand awareness internationally. You will be a part of a fast-growing, global brand, and a dynamic team powered by ambition, passion for design, and strong business acumen.
LIEWOOD is an international kids' lifestyle brand designing and producing accessories, interior, and selected clothing for babies and children. LIEWOOD products are created with a sustainable mindset - from design and functionality to carefully selected materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, wood and silicone, following the highest quality standards.
LIEWOOD is a dynamic, design-driven, and highly commercial company in rapid growth - founded in 2015 by Anne Marie Lie Norvig with the desire and commitment to create a unique kid's lifestyle brand focusing on functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. LIEWOOD is based in Copenhagen, and the universe is deeply rooted in the Nordic design tradition.
Entering the role as Head of Marketing, you will lead the Global Marketing efforts and brand development projects, supporting further expansion of the business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the Global Marketing strategy and building a Marketing team to scale, in close collaboration with the Liewood Management team, to strengthen company growth.
You will be working closely with LIEWOOD’s founder, who is also the Creative Director and CEO of LIEWOOD, together with a passionate Sales Team in both B2B and D2C. Furthermore, you will be the sparring partner of the CEO in all matters of brand strategy, development and visual identity, hereunder drive recruitment and implementation of new Marketing functions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead onboarding and development of newly added functions for ‘PR & Comms.’ and ‘Social Media’, hereunder the creation and implementation of new communication strategies
Drive Brand developments and the implementations of CVI across all touch points, hereto drive developments and implementation of a 2.0 communication platform including Brand voice and TOV for all communication functions
Develop GTM plans (products, categories and channels) and Channel Marketing strategies, in close collaboration with commercial channel leads (DTC/B2B)
Support the developments of the yearly calendar and cross-functional processes in close collaboration with the LIEWOOD management team
Implement and drive the overall Marketing Calendar process, as strategic lead for all communication functions and Marketing channels
Initiate and drive strategic brand collaborations and partnerships and lead the team to make collaborations a part of the marketing DNA
Owner of the Marketing Budget and Responsible; create yearly marketing plan with a breakdown of the marketing budget and main KPIs. Responsible for following up on the budget and reaching the agreed targets (budgeting, forecasting, monitoring)
Support the B2B sales force with sell-in material and campaigns to Key Accounts and B2C with relevant, digital content
Lead developments of efficient tools to monitor and optimize performance on Brand & marketing efforts (hereunder build strategies to harvest and analyze consumer data, traffic, conversion and basket size)
Work closely with the Design and Production Teams in the development, launch and follow-up of the new collections and categories
The ideal candidate holds a masters degree within the field of Business, Marketing and Branding, Communication, or similar. Preferably, you have 5-10 years work experience in a leading Marketing role, and comes with considerable experience from the lifestyle, fashion, and/or design segment, with an international work scope and a strong sense of aesthetics. Additionally, you are able to prove a record of driving successful Marketing activities on an international scale, understanding various consumer behaviours. You are capable of translating internal and external stakeholder knowledge into solid marketing actions, in all consumer touch points.
It is essential, that you are a strong communicator with demonstrated skills in both written and oral English, and hold strong creative, strategic, and interpersonal skills. You possess emphatic, collaborative and leadership skills, to point a direction for your team as well as supervise and manage multiple projects at the same time. Besides being an aspirational, strong leader, you are a passionate, motivating team player with commitment to work with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
Additionally, it is a great benefit that you you come with experience from scaling of startup businesses, and can demonstrate the ability to navigate in international settings.
As a person, you are digital savvy and international oriented, moreover possess a commercial mindset. You are strategic and organized, and master converting ideas into action plans. You demonstrate balancing strategy development, operations, brand and management with ease. Finally, you work highly independently, decisive and proactive, and know how to set the direction and delegate tasks.
