Product Portfolio Manager for Jabra (GN)
On behalf of Jabra (GN), we are currently looking for an experienced Product Portfolio Manager, who is passionate about building a leading product portfolio. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with a small Product Portfolio Team, moreover closely collaborate with a larger Product Management team. Together with your team, drive priorities on the product and experience investment propoposals, and join the journey to make the life and work of millions of people sound better.

As Product Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with a team of mixed experiences and maintain a great relationship with the global teams even though they are spread out across the globe. This position will work out of HQ in Ballerup.
As the new Product Portfolio Manager, your overall target is to ensure that Jabra make the correct prioritizations within the 5 business domains when selecting which products to progress with and use resources on. To do this, you will utilize the massive amounts of product data and inputs from stakeholders to thoroughly conduct analyses and further translate these results into understandable arguments.
With that in mind, you will be interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, each with their own agenda and business line to look out for. Therefore, a key task will be to navigate and facilitate these meetings and discussions and ultimately play a big part in deciding how Jabra prioritize their portfolio.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Analyzie various product investment proposals for decision-making in collaboration with the 5 business teams and R&D to ensure optimal investment on portfolio level
- Map the product opportunities against Jabra’s internal capabilities, including capacity, budgets and competencies
- Consolidate executable, prioritized portfolio proposals that drive the GN Audio strategy and business success optimally
- Drive improvement in Jabra’s plan and prioritize by combining easy-to-understand frameworks, an analytical approach and common sense

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and has 3-5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy development or product portfolio management. Additionally, it is required that you have a solid understanding of modelling markets and businesses. You preferably have experience with turning strategy into concrete, meaningful and measurables plans and know how to balance strategic needs, execution capability, opportunity cost and risk and market impact to create concrete proposals throughout the portfolio life cycle.
As a market- and business-focused individual with an analytical and strategic mindset, you enjoy solving complex problems that combine qualitative and quantitative data and insight. You are great at translating your analyses into tangible actions and decisions and present them in a simple way for your stakeholders.
As you deal with a wide range of stakeholders and opinions, you will need to be an amazing facilitator when meeting and needing to decide on priorities. Here, your professional acumen will come in handy as you need to stand your ground and still maintain an optimistic and positive atmosphere.
Moreover, you possess strong problem solving skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. You hold excellent interpersonal skills and a great sense of structure, as the position includes indirect leadership with the responsibility of driving projects in a global company across time-zones. It it thus required that your career proves experience working in one or more international organizations. Finally, fluent English is a prerequisite, verbal as well as written.
