The position
As a Senior Asset Manager, responsible for the operational and commercial performance of their various assets, including PV parks, properties, and land. With the tremendous growth of their property and land portfolio, you will take on full commercial responsibility for their newly established portfolio of non-solar related assets, such as land and properties.

In this role, you will be the asset representative and first point of contact internally and externally for all commercial and partner-related topics. Your strong commercial understanding will be crucial in managing external stakeholders and ensuring the success of the portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Have full commercial responsibility for non-solar related assets such as land and properties, including full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to contract closure.
• Reporting to stakeholders on the property portfolio.
• Cost management of the relevant maintenance for the properties.
• Ensure liquidity forecasting for the increasing portfolio of properties and land.
• Establish appropriate rental rates by conducting market research.
• Make strategic proposals for the best utilization of the properties.
• Assist the Real Estate legal team with the execution of the purchases and coordinate proper handover to the Asset Management team
• Set up a strategy for operations & maintenance of the properties.
• Handle insurance claims for the properties.
• Provide value propositions to the owners of the property.

Better Energy has currently 250+ employees across 23+ different nationalities and counting, and as Senior Asset Manager, you will join their fast-growing Asset Management team at their office in Copenhagen where you will report to the EVP of Asset Management.

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with relevant business education and 7+ years of experience in property, leasing, or business development roles. Alternatively, you may have been exposed to various commercial projects or business development functions in an internationally operating company. You should be an experienced user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficient in English, both orally and in writing. Experience with lease contracts and property law is essential, while experience managing land designated for agricultural purposes is highly desirable.

As a successful candidate, you are a driven and organized individual who knows how to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and pay close attention to detail. You are proactive and curious, and take a strong sense of responsibility for your work and the results you deliver. You have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Danish and English, an analytical mindset, and enjoy solving problems and building, maintaining, and improving processes and systems. You face new tasks with a positive mindset, and you are not afraid to act, even in unknown territory, knowing that you have a great team to support you when facing difficult tasks.
