Senior Cloud Engineer
On behalf of Acceleration Nordic, the world's largest supplier of solutions for Google Marketing & Cloud Platform, we are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their Data Science and Engineering team based in Stockholm. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative cloud solutions to Acceleration Nordic clients, including some of the world's leading companies in various industries.

The position
In the position as Senior Cloud Engineer you will be part of the Data Science and Engineering Team and be responsible for modeling and cloud engineering. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will be involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based systems and applications. Additionally, you will participate in security and compliance reviews to ensure that cloud solutions meet security and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver cloud projects from start to finish, including setting up data pipelines, building infrastructure, and activation
- Model and analyze using AI/ML techniques
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based systems and applications
- Participate in security and compliance reviews and ensure that cloud solutions meet security and regulatory requirements
- Develop and execute cloud migration strategies
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services, including cost optimization and resource utilization
- Monitor performance and availability of cloud-based systems and applications
You will report to Viktor Åhlén, Head of Product based in Stockholm.
Your profile
To succeed in the role, you preferably hold 3-5 years of experience in cloud environments and have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data pipelines and AI/ML models. You are curious about new technologies and are continuously improving your skills and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices. Furthermore, we are looking for a profile who can provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members. Hence, you have excellent communication and collaboration skills and can work both independently and as part of a team. On a personal note, you are an entrepreneurial spirit; possessing an energetic and self-starting mentality, alongside a ‘go-get’ attitude. Furthermore, you thrive in an environment similar to a startup culture where you will face a variety of tasks. It is seen as an advantage if you have experience in the media industry or have been working with CRM systems.
