The position as Creative Director is a new position in the Marketing team and a key role in insourcing the creative process with a digital-first mindset as well as in developing an internal agency approach to creative production across GN Hearing’s marketing network. You will be part of an ambitious team of 50 marketers in total that are relentless about driving meaningful change and seek to excel at everything they do.
It is GN Hearing’s ambition to become even more customer centric, work with a digital-first approach and commercial mindset, deliver tangible long-term outcomes and operate truly networked within the business. Thereto, they are currently strengthening many of the critical competencies, such as customer insights, proposition development, digital planning and activation, and are creating a more flexible and hybrid inhouse creation setup. You will be responsible for driving the creative strategy planning process and be the frontrunner in developing new concepts and campaigns that can capture the attention of new customers within a competitive market space.
With a creative vision and an innovative mindset, you will be overseeing and supervising the content creation, production and events, while heading up, growing and developing a team of 8 creation and production specialists as well as 2 strong creation and production coordinators.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead the creative process and inspire the team to deliver state of the art creatives
- Formulate campaign development tactics, creative concepts (verbally and visually) and execution plans in collaboration with Brand Strategy and the Integrated Marketing Communications Manager
- Lead, manage and develop the inhouse production team
- Oversee the efficient content creation and production for campaigns, ongoing content, events and other activities, including brand materials and packaging
- Secure agile, ongoing development and production of high profile visual and animated content for digital and offline media
- Own and leverage resource and time allocation systems and the ongoing optimization of these
- Own the relationship and efficient management of POS and event suppliers
The position is located at GN Hearing’s HQ in Greater Copenhagen and you will report directly to the Deputy of Marketing and Commercialization.
You are a strong leader with a creative heart that excels in developing strategic creative concepts based on integrated communication planning with an omnichannel approach – and you feel confident in leading the creative process to be a digital content creation hub. Moreover, you are highly experienced in executing on differentiated ideas, especially digitally. You possess excellent communications skills and are able to translate complex knowledge into understandable and commercially driven ideas and concepts.
You come with solid leadership skills, have experience in managing creative teams, driving change and growing and developing people and have a true desire for working in environments characterized by change.
Ideally, you hold 7+ years of experience from a similar position and come across as an authoritative creative developer. It is essential that you hold a solution-oriented mindset, and it is expected that you are interested in and follow digital trends and tendencies. Moreover, you hold strong stakeholder management, negotiation and collaboration skills – internally as well as externally, along with exceptional relationship and conflict management skills.
You are a creative leader with the courage, will and power to challenge the status quo, and you are highly organized and disciplined, yet master concept-creation from idea stage to actual implementation. You find it valuable to driving and guiding your team to bring forward new ideas. This with outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to listen effectively and inspire trust which benefit both the team and collaborators to produce offline and online content that engage new customers and satisfy existing ones.
