The position
As Director of Product Portfolio, you will lead their product portfolio team within product management. You will be a member of Product Management Leadership Team and report to Senior Vice President, Product Management of GN Audio, the home of Jabra and Blueparrott brands. You can work out of either GN’s offices in Ballerup, Denmark or Helsinki, Finland.

You will be in charge of GN Audio’s product portfolio with the aim for creating and maintaining a winning portfolio of products and experiences. Based on strong understanding of GN Audio markets, their strategy and their product making capability, you and your team will work closely with their five business domain teams to synthesize and prioritize market and product opportunities across GN Audio businesses. Working closely with R&D planning, you will map the opportunities against their internal capabilities, including capacity, budgets and competencies. As a result, you consolidate executable portfolio proposals and plans, that optimally drive GN Audio strategy and business success.

You will host their monthly Product Portfolio Board, a key senior leadership forum in their monthly governance cycle. You will bring product investment proposals for decision making in collaboration with the business teams and R&D and track and report progress of their product and SW/experience investments and roadmaps. Thereto, you will drive their roadmap and portfolio planning agenda across their businesses, and drive market and business focused priorities into operative governance. You will own their product roadmap and related documentation and communication and play a key role in their annual planning and budgeting cycle as well as creating and maintaining GN Audio Product & Experience strategy.

Your profile
You are a market and business focused portfolio leader with an analytical and strategic mindset. You have a strong understanding of markets and businesses and have experience of consolidating business and market understanding and company strategy to form plans and roadmaps. You enjoy solving complex problems that combine qualitative and quantitative data and insight and have strong business acumen and an intuitive understanding of what drives difference and what matters. During your career, you have created strategies and turned them into concrete execution plans that drive impact.

As a leader, you inspire your team and the broader organization around you and spur them to deliver strong results. Previous colleagues tell stories about how you have helped your teams through difficult challenges and have emerged with winning solutions as a team. Thereto, you have led, supported and coached your team members to grow and flourish in their careers, and they can tell about the distinct impact you have had in their careers.
