On behalf of Fritz Hansen, we are now looking for a talented Marketing Activation Manager who will be responsible for the overall planning, activation and project management of the Fritz Hansen Brand activities aiming at end-users, retail partners and professional clients through different channels.

Now, Fritz Hansen is looking for an experienced Marketing Activation Manager who will manage and develop the marketing activities, making it one of the leading and most exclusive Scandinavian design brands in the world.
The Marketing Activation Manager will act as the overall project manager in the marketing department for the activation of product launches, advertising campaigns and sales materials towards both the residential and commercial segment. You will be the manager of 3 employees to ensure that the ongoing flow of marketing projects always are delivered successfully on time.

Your primary focus will be to plan the yearly marketing activities and ensure the hands-on operational execution of our action plans to deliver the best marketing communication and sales materials in close collaboration with other team members. You will be the architect of our planning process and starting new projects, executing them from A-Z. You will be responsible for product launches and strategic go-to-market plans, and following that, responsible for delivering on activation plans.
Consequently, you will have operational overview of media plans, advertising development internally or with agencies, marketing budgets as well as the commercial content for newsletters and SoMe - always aligning with the other functions in the marketing department.
This will relate to both global, regional and local initiatives, and include collaboration with local offices, brand and media agencies and external stakeholders. Overall stakeholder management is a key part of the position.
The job will specifically include:
- Marketing activation with highly structured Project Management.
- Plan, develop and execute brand, product and tactical marketing campaigns and activities to increase sales.
- Plan and execute individual go-to-market product plans to secure optimal launch implementation.
- Develop advertising and sales materials - or handle with advertising agency.
- Handle collaboration with local offices, advertising and media agencies and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee the execution of media plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan, order and oversee brand asset development (e.g. photo shoots, catalogue development, and video production) in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team.
- Develop the yearly marketing plan and quarterly actions for the residential and commercial segments according to the budget.
- Be responsible for the media budget, brand asset development and activation budget.
You will be part of the management of the overall Fritz Hansen Marketing department and collaborate closely with the other team leaders. You will be leading the brand management unit consisting of a team with two Marketing Specialists and a Marketing Coordinator. Furthermore, you will work closely with the other marketing units; PR & Communication, Graphic Design, and Digital. You will report directly to the Global Marketing Director.
The ideal candidate for the role as Marketing Activation Manager is a highly structured and experienced Marketing Project Manager with a proven track-record within marketing and brand activation. Your educational background comes from a business school or similar and you have 10+ years of relevant experience – some of them as a manager. You are a skilled marketing professional who can coordinate and execute in cooperation with a high number of stakeholders and a significant level of complexity.
International brand experience is preferred to succeed in this globally oriented position. You enjoy and are familiar with working on an operational, tactical, and strategic marketing level, and you are fundamentally motivated by reaching goals and finalizing projects. Thus, you have worked with other brands – preferably within companies with international outreach. t is a huge advantage to have experience from the furniture, design, retail, lifestyle, or luxury industry - and you have preferably previously worked within both B2B and B2C disciplines.
On a personal note, you have a mature and calm profile with a positive and energetic mindset. You have a hands-on approach to work, and you are robust and used to a high workload at a fast pace. You are outgoing and enthusiastic to make a difference and an impact, and you are driven by delivering high-quality solutions and results with a generally incorporated service mindset. Being strong in team collaboration is key to succeed in this position.
On top of this, you have a refined sense of aesthetics and preferably a personal interest in design, furniture, and architecture. Lastly, you are fluent in both oral and written English and Danish, and you have a solid proficiency with Microsoft Office.
