We are looking for an experienced and passionate Product & Proposition Marketing Manager on behalf of GN Hearing. You will hold a key role in shaping our future offering and long-term story, defining and communicating impactful insights-based value propositions for new digital customer experiences and services that create value for our professional hearing care partners, end users, and our business.

The position

You will enter a small, integrated team that creates the foundation for bringing our future offering to the market in a differentiated and impactful story-telling way with the purpose to motivate our professional partners and customers to work with GN Hearing, recommend our solutions, and for end users to prefer and use. Your role is to define and communicate impactful value propositions for new digital customer experiences, future hearing care and service offerings, and digital engagement programs. You will work integrated with stakeholders across the business from the early planning phases on until the launch and inlife. Core to the role is to drive analysis and insights, synthesize information, and create and assess positioning and messaging options. In the end to define value propositions that capture the essence of the offering, are rooted in clear insights of the target audience, and are brought to life through inspiring messaging and storytelling that builds towards a long-term differentiated positioning for GN Hearing.


As Product & Proposition Marketing Manager you will report to the Senior Director, Head of Product Marketing, Nikolaus Scheurer, and work from GN’s headquarters in Ballerup, outside Copenhagen, Denmark. In usual times, this role will include travel days. In the current situation Teams is used to make work even more flexible, digital, and collaborative.


Your key responsibilities include:

  • Stay knowledgeable about our products and solutions, market and competition, professional partners and customers, and be a true ambassador for the end user
  • Create distinct, insights-based, and validated value propositions and messaging for future digital customer experiences, services, and programs
  • Closely engage key stakeholders from planning all the way to market, driving analysis, insights creation, scenario planning and engagement assessing positioning and messaging options
  • Think and work strategic, connecting offerings and creating messaging and storytelling that builds towards a differentiated long-term brand and market positioning for GN Hearing and our brands
  • Remain the owner and custodian for the value proposition and messaging throughout the integrated marketing communications, creative process, go-to-market planning, and inlife, for consistency and impact


Your profile

You are an experienced product marketing professional with a strong digital profile and experience in successfully defining value propositions, messaging, and bringing new digital offerings to the market.  You will have 5-7 years of experience in product and proposition marketing or product management from comparable roles and preferably have worked in either B2B2C or B2B settings in global and complex larger scale organizations before. It is not required that you have prior hearing or medical care industry experience, but bring the necessary curiosity and ability to quickly acquire and maintain in-depth business, product and solution, and market understanding, and be a customer and end user advocate. You have commercial flair that will benefit you in scenario planning and long-term positioning.

As a person, you are analytically strong, have the drive to source and ability to synthesizing data, insights, and information. Essentially to transform complex information into simple, yet impactful concepts and understandable language. You are outgoing, a strong networker and collaborator, who engages and manages multiple stakeholders across different levels of seniority and can navigate with ease in a global business setting. You have a curious and creative, yet structured attitude and are well-documented in your work. Not last, you are an inspiring communicator and storyteller, who is audience-minded and can motivate the people around you, making them collaborators and ambassadors for joint success.
