On behalf of NOVASOL, we are looking for a Senior Analyst with a flair for leveraging the potential of insights and data. You will play a key role in analysing and combining a variety of data and securing the company’s digital data foundation within personalized experiences onsite and digital marketing touch points.
NOVASOL is Europe’s largest company for holiday rentals, offering a portfolio of more than 50,000 holiday rentals across 28 destinations in Southern, Central and Northern Europe. Since the establishment, the company has merged with Dansommer and Ardennes-Etape and is now part of Awaze, Europe’s leading managed vacation rentals and holiday resorts business. Historically, NOVASOL was founded as a one-man operation on a cold and snowy day in December, in Denmark 1968, selling cabin holidays in Norway. Originally, the company was called Nordisk Ferie but over the years, they experienced tremendous growth and started offering beautiful holiday homes by the sea, rustic country cottages in stunning surroundings, apartments in town centers, and villas with private pools all over Europe.
The position is a unique opportunity to show your skills within data analysis and help NOVASOL develop new data standards and workflows to further strengthen their delivery processes and to optimize and implement data-driven structures. With technical flair and a strong eye for details, you will be responsible for developing how NOVASOL works and how they perceive and respond to business challenges so they can continue to deliver measurable, sustainable solutions to their customers. In particular, you will be responsible for the development of the technical marketing infrastructure to establish the foundation for data-driven marketing through analysis of data from multiple sources, segmentation and activation.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Monitor and analyze channel marketing metrics specific to digital commerce initiatives and growth opportunities with an emphasis on Search Marketing.
- Build visualizations that explain complex concepts in clear, concise and decision-impacting stories
- Work closely together with stakeholders to understand business needs, data-driven solutions and communicate these effectively
- Support the development and design of reporting dashboards to the business and different marketing teams
- Identify, promote and drive changes in processes and procedures needed to ensure that the company collects better data, and thereto design, develop and maintain data integrations with internal and external systems
- Ensure the flow of data through various stages of NOVASOL’s customer journeys
- Implementation and management of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Search Console and other key digital marketing tools
- Responsible for debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting data solutions and dashboards
- Responsible for thorough and rigorous testing and validation of data
- Contribute with scalable technical solutions to support activation of data and for dashboard- and analyses purposes, by for instance creating a DMP or a data lake
The position is located at NOVASOL’s headquarter in Virum, Denmark.
To succeed in the position, you possess strong skills within tech, marketing, and analytics and know how to combine those areas. Hence, you have what it takes to draw on data, combine data from various sources and make data accessible, understandable and useful. Ideally, you hold a relevant educational background in Engineering, Computer Science or Digital Marketing and come with minimum 5-6 years of experience from a similar role. You have experience within web analytics, data visualization, data collection, data stitching and data activation as well as a thorough experience with dashboard building and data flows for both analytical tools as well as marketing tags. Thus, you also possess strong experience with setup and validation of A/B testing.
You have an excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and hands-on experience with onsite optimization tools. Moreover, you have throughout your career worked extensively with data sources and come with an understanding of how they can be activated commercially. The right candidate thus comes with an in-depth technical understanding and an abstract approach to problem solving which allows you to contribute with unique and scalable solutions to the team. Besides your tech and data-driven approach and knowledge, you possess great communications skills and are fluent in written and oral English and preferably one of the Scandinavian languages.
Personally, you are structured and detail-oriented, thrive in an analytical and digital environment and understand how to structure data and how to gain access to data. You are passionate about the digital landscape and strive for continuous professional development – both for you as an individual and for your team and business. You have a great overview as well as strategic flair, and it is crucial that you are an empathic team player with a high energy and can see yourself working in a dynamic everyday life where change is the rule rather than the exception.
