We are looking for a conceptual Senior Art Director with a talent for transforming great ideas into engaging creative and visual concepts that captures imaginations. This by being responsible for conceptualizing design and communications materials as well as visual and animation concepts for marketing campaigns and brand films ensuring alignment with Milestone’s business, values and marketing strategies.

Here, you will play an essential role in driving global brand value proposition and implementing creative brand experiences, visual style and images across all relevant touchpoints.
You will be part of a Brand Studio team that functions as in-house agency within Global Marketing and Communication and thereto work with a talented group of professionals such as project managers, videographers, copywriters, art directors, online designers, and producers. Along with your team, you will develop and position Milestone’s brand voice and vision through strategic storytelling and visual branding – both toward partners, customers and employees.
Some of your main responsibilities include conceptualizing design and communications materials that are aligned with Milestone’s business and marketing strategies, along with creating visual and animation concepts for marketing campaigns and brand films and defining, evolving and expressing the brand strategy and experience across all categories. Through innovative ideas, creativity and execution, and a high level of responsibility, you will hence be the driving force to provide the conceptual idea behind the project and to keep the creative work at the top of its game.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Clarifying and applying Milestone’s visual brand tonality to branding campaigns, advertisement, profile materials, SoMe, HQ events, office branding, general employer branding, etc
- Advancing brand with annual updates to company guidelines for launches, events, campaigns, products, and brand films
- Further development the corporate visual identity (CVI) and the creation of comprehensive user guides for global implementation/execution of creative concepts
- Working with colleagues and agencies across the globe to ensure brand compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to create effective creative marketing material
- Staying up to date with Milestone’s products, services, target audiences and competitors' activities to ensure that marketing communication is aligned with the overall value proposition
- Conceptualizing and shaping inspiring and persuading content, storyboarding and visual design and lead the creative direction of all kinds of video and film productions
The position is located at Milestone’s Danish headquarters in Greater Copenhagen where you will be a part of the Creative’ management team and report directly to the Head of Brand Studio.
You are an innovative and visionary Art Director passionate about crafting world-class ideas and eager to drive flawless visual execution on a global and well-renowned brand. This with flair for conceptualizing creative thoughts that elevates brands into the future and wins the hearts and the minds of global target audiences.
Ideally, you come with 7-10 years of experience working as a (senior) art director within film, advertising and/or marketing or similar, along with proven high-level creative skills and proficiency in cross-media design, communications and visual storytelling. You have a strong business acumen and an advanced understanding of marketing as well as a strategic and visual problem-solving mindset. It is essential that you possess conceptual, visual and creative skills and thrive on the art of storytelling, design as well as in solving complex creative challenges to drive business success.
Moreover, you understand technical products and issues and can translate them into easily understandable messages and designs, and Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch and InVision are not foreign toolkits to you. If you further have experience with animation and motion design, it is a great advantage.
As you will be part of an international team, it is essential that you grasp the English language to perfection, verbally as well as written, and naturally communicate, present and negotiate at all level within and outside the organization.
You thrive working both independently, yet have flair for leading projects and teams while successfully collaborate with other creatives and departments. Culture, communication and marketing trends are some of your primarily interests, and while keeping up with the latest trends within the industry, you have a desire to always challenge the status quo to develop, craft and execute inspiring concepts. You are a knack when it comes to determining the tone, mood and colour palettes of brands and you naturally inspire and guide the vision of the design team.
