MN Retail is looking for a strategic and yet hands-on Digital Communications Manager, who will be responsible for developing and optimizing the company’s digital communications strategy across channels and work with a broad range of digital disciplines to secure the digital communication efforts across all brands and to optimize the customer experiences.
About MN Retail
MN Retail is located in the heart of Copenhagen and is a mix of international franchise brands and own in-house brands. The portfolio of in-house brands includes the cashmere brand Månestråle, the global watch brand LLARSEN, and the new t-shirt brand 360 ICÔN. The in-house portfolio of brands is more playful and creative than the franchise brands as MN Retail shapes these brands. All of these brands have their own website including a webshop hosted and managed by MN Retail.
Besides the fashion brands, MN Retail has launched the mobile tax-free refund app Custom Cash. Custom Cash makes it easier and faster to redeem one’s tax refund and provides the highest refund rate on the market. The App is launched on all of the Nordic markets.
As Digital Communications Manager, you will be responsible for driving the digital communication efforts across brands and channels with the ambition to create commercial communication that increase traffic, brand awareness and sales. You will be responsible for developing the overall digital communications strategy as well as implementing it and continuously evaluating and optimizing the digital performance with the purpose to optimize the customer experience, prevent churn as well as retain existing customers and attract new ones. Additionally, you will be responsible for search engine optimization to secure a long-term inbound marketing strategy and for managing an effective brand awareness strategy across third party platforms.
You will be in charge of communication for both own, earned and paid digital media from optimization of the brand websites to developing SoMe strategies and SEO/SEM optimization. With drive and passion, you will develop digital campaigns in Google Adwords, including refining keywords lists, optimizing landing pages to increase Quality Score and implement A/B tests as well as create effective marketing campaigns by continuously evaluating and optimizing. To successfully developing SoMe strategies, it is essential that you understand which messages works for which channels and at the same time are capable of uniting your insights to a holistic and unified SoMe strategy for each brand. Furthermore, you will be responsible for influencer and affiliate marketing in the digital communications strategy, why it is a must that you possess a deep knowledge of how to use these marketing disciplines to create business value. Additionally, you have an understanding for Apps like the Custom Cash App as well as for the development of digital services and products for the MN Retail brands.

Thereto, you are able to come up with new initiatives to secure digital growth and extraordinary customer experiences. Additionally, you have flair for aesthetics, hence know how to secure that the initiatives you come up with are aligned both strategically and visually with the different brand identities in the MN Retail portfolio.
As Digital Communications Manager, you will be a part of an international and dynamic team which brings diversity to your everyday work life. MN Retail is a small company with a flat organization structure, and you will work with employees across all of the brands to ensure that the digital presence is aligned with other activities. Furthermore, you will have employees referring to you in LLARSEN and Custom Cash, and you will work closely with the marketing team at Månestråle and 360 ICÔN.
As MN Retail’s Digital Communications Manager, you will primarily work with Månestråle, 360 ICÔN, LLARSEN and Custom Cash from your office at the headquarter in Copenhagen.
The ideal candidate has a relevant academic background within the field of marketing, communication and/or information technology and has solid experience in online marketing. You come with minimum 2 years of hands-on experience from a similar role where you have worked with a broad range of digital marketing and communications disciplines and have experience with handling online marketing campaigns – primarily at Google Adwords, Facebook Business and LinkedIn. Moreover, experience with Google Analytics and Apps is considered a great plus. With a strong business understanding, you know how digital communication can be used to support the overall business goals, enjoy thinking about ROI and are always looking for a way to improve it. Furthermore, you know how to fuel insights with data and possess excellent knowledge of data analytics and reporting as well as impeccable SEO and SEM knowledge. Additionally, you have experience with affiliate marketing and online campaign management. You hold one of the Nordic languages as your mother tongue but possess outstanding English communications skills, oral as well as written, and are a strong communicator who are not afraid of taking the stage, presenting your ideas and thoughts to a differentiated and large audience.
As a person, you are result-driven and ambitious and proactive by nature. You are not afraid of taking the lead but are at the same time an empathetic and collaborative teamplayer with great stakeholder management skills who enjoys working with a broad range of different people and brands.
