Senior Marketing Manager for One.com

On behalf of One.com, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Marketing Manager who will be in charge of the growth and engagement of One.com’s diverse customer base. In addition, you will be responsible of leading their global strategy on core product activation and add-on feature adoption and focus on cross-sell and up-sell initiatives.

Their aim is to serve their customers with a simple, trustworthy, and a flexible way to develop and design a website with no need of coding skills.

Since 2002, they have gone on to serve over 1,400,000 customers in over 140 countries, winning several awards along the way. They now have almost 280 staff in three offices around the world and they serve more than 1.500.000 websites, which gives One.com the title as Europe’s leading web hosting and domain name services provider.

One.com are on an interesting growth journey and they are now looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will help further developing the One.com, consolidating it as one of the leading and most exclusive web hosting services in the world.


The position
As a Senior Marketing Manager for One.com you will get to own the strategy and execution of all up-sell and cross-sell marketing campaigns, and match customers with the setup that is right for them to maximize their engagement and lifetime value. By leveraging your marketing and subscription expertise as well as paying attention to detail and customer empathy, you will launch highly effective campaigns across their digital media channels and assist in sales. Moreover, you will be reporting to the Commercial Director.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Own successful customer outcomes, including speedy onboarding, increasing solution footprint, retention and renewal
  • Understand and translate the value of our solutions for key customer segments into successful marketing campaigns that drive up-sell and cross-sell within our existing base, or assist with free-trial conversions and other lead gen marketing
  • Create comprehensive marketing campaign briefs (including target, channel, touchpoint, message, offer, flow, KPIs, etc.)
  • Project manage all levels of milestones, tasks, and dependencies across relevant functions when it comes to launching, tracking and reporting on campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with external requirements when executing co-marketing campaigns, and report on outcomes for external stakeholders
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing to increase the effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Lead development and promotion of case studies and testimonials for core products
  • Ensure customers are informed about updates to One.com solutions and services
  • Liaise with the support organization in identifying and rolling out consultative sales campaigns, train supporters in customer-centric value creation initiatives

You will be working out of One.com’s Malmö office. 


Your profile
The ideal person for this role is Marketing, Tech and Data savvy, with hands-on experience of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast and dynamic environment. You have a degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar, and come with seven or more years of experience in marketing, specifically engagement and lifecycle marketing. We expect you to have a proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and execute effective campaigns, and it is seen as a plus if you have experience working with ecommerce subscription businesses.

To succeed in this role, you have a sense of autonomy, ownership and desire to contribute to the company’s success. You also have excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex data, influence others and build strong relationships.

As a person, you have analytical, problem-solving and data driven approach to things and have a and natural curiosity in seeking out new information. In a team, you have an ability to function autonomously while actively liaising across departments. Moreover, you are a team builder and possess emphatic collaborative skills and at the same time you are not afraid of pointing out a direction for your team.
