On behalf of Wunderman Nordic, we are looking for a strategic and proactive Account Director/Consultant with a passion for digital solutions and a solid technical understanding, who will be responsible for managing the very best CRM/direct marketing solutions for one of the agency’s largest international clients.

The position

As Account Director/Consultant, you will be a devoted leader within customer relations and marketing automation and become the linchpin in a network of closely coordinated specialists such as project managers, designers, user experience architects and developers. You will be part of a Client Team based in Stockholm and refer directly to the Client Lead but will work closely with Wunderman Nordic’s wider team often out of Copenhagen. With a solid understanding of the discipline, you will act as an experienced strategic Account Director/Consultant and be the bridge between the Client Lead, project managers and specialists within Wunderman.

You will be responsible for leading and driving a cross functional team with several specialists and for organizing and managing projects for one of Wunderman’s largest international clients. You will be part of strategy development, but also play an important role in operationalizing the roadmap together with your team of specialists. Hence, strong people as well as strategic skills are essential to succeed in the position. Furthermore, you will play a central role throughout the entire project lifecycle where you will make use of your strategic thinking and management skills as well as handling more hands-on tasks. A solid technical understanding and a strong passion for digital solutions are thus essential as you will work closely with specialists within tech, data and content to deliver high-class customer experiences.

Your key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Client dialogue contact and project responsibility
  • Overseeing and managing projects incl. securing progress across different departments, managing risk and ensuring deliverables on time, on budget and with high quality
  • Managing the client relationship and expectations to deliver your projects
  • Team management and be a daily sparring partner to your colleagues
  • Producing high quality presentations for internal and client meetings
  • Proactively ensuring that obstacles are mitigated
  • Developing project scopes, plans and budgets
  • More Biz, including proactively turning unleashed opportunities into value adding projects
  • Assist in the development of CRM & CX strategies in close collaboration with your team of experts and client

As a global network and a Nordic family, colleagues and clients are working in different locations and countries, why travel, especially to Copenhagen, will be part of the job.

Your profile

The ideal candidate comes with 6-8 years of experience from a similar role, preferably from a similar agency or from an international organization. As you will assist and participate in CRM and CX activities, 5 years of experience as a CRM and/or a marketing automation focused project manager is essential to succeed in the role. You hold strong stakeholder management skills and it is important that you have experience working with specialists within data, tech and content. Moreover, you are an excellent communicator with strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally as well as written, and have experience in developing and presenting presentations and ideas to a broad audience. You have extensive knowledge of working with data, technical projects and marketing automation platforms as well as experience with strategic management. Experience with implementation of IT projects within CRM, web and/or marketing automation is seen as a plus. Ideally, you also have experience with either Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Adobe Experience Cloud.

Even though you have a lot at hand, you are organized and are able to keep perspective while showing great attention to detail. Additionally, you are confident and have the self-discipline to manage deadlines, estimates and budgets excellently. Moreover, you possess strong collaboration skills and take pride in understanding clients’ business, their business model and commercial agenda to create new ideas and initiatives. At last, you are motivated to lead projects for one of Wunderman’s largest clients and ready to be part of a dynamic, Nordic and internationally oriented organization.
