Infomedia is looking for a driven and commercial minded Country Manager, who will become responsible for their Swedish market from the office in Stockholm and be part of the management team and develop the company’s growth strategy and business performance within media surveillance, media intelligence and communications insights.
Infomedia is a Nordic Media Intelligence house and is a market leader within media surveillance, media intelligence and media analysis. The company is a frontrunner in media monitoring and communication insights across print, web, broadcast and SoMe platforms in the fast-changing global media landscape. With people, technology and data as the core ingredients of their market-leading insights, they support companies, governments and organizations to make better tactical and strategic decisions to navigate both opportunities and risks around their brands, industries and general trends from a communication perspective. By keeping up with trends and tendencies within the industry and society, and with a profound understanding of qualified data, they function as a strategic partner, providing insight and advice to strengthen their client’s strategic efforts across different business areas, markets, and national borders.
Infomedia consists of a sound combination of experienced specialists and young professionals with a commercial and pioneering view on media surveillance and media analysis. The headquarter is located in Copenhagen with 150 employees, but they have offices in Oslo and Stockholm as well as a production team in Chennai, India and a shared service center for production and customer service in Tallin. In addition to Infomedia’s own portfolio of media and communication solutions, they also partner with some of the leading global social media platforms such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Hootsuite, and Zerofox.
In February 2018, Infomedia acquired Opoint Technology, a leading web-crawler platform for global online media monitoring. With the team and technology, the transfer also included an international business of partnerships with +70 media monitors and SoMe platforms. The acquisition has made Infomedia a global player in the media monitoring space, providing relevant business critical media insights to more than 125,000 customers worldwide with more than 2 million daily users. Moreover, in the beginning of fall 2019, Infomedia acquired the global information services company MBrain’s Nordic media surveillance activities in Oslo, Stockholm and Tallinn, which brings the total number of employees to 250, including 30 employees in Stockholm.
As Country Manager for Infomedia, you will be responsible for the Swedish market from your office in Stockholm. You will become an important part of the Nordic management team and refer directly to the company’s CEO, Thomas Vejlemand, located in Copenhagen. Together with the management team, you will develop Infomedia’s overall growth strategy and play a key role in their business development within media surveillance and communications insights with the ambition to continue the positive growth with a solid profitability. An important part of the job will be to maintain strong relationships with existing clients, but also to nurture and expand the client portfolio through existing product offerings as well as through innovation of new products- and solutions within media monitoring, media analysis and media intelligence. You will take over a healthy business and be in charge of a team of 30, including Sales, Analytics, SoMe, Media and Communications experts, and deliverables will be substantiated by strong production and technology teams in Copenhagen and Tallinn.
The position is a change-oriented leading role, working with all aspects of management with responsibility of both the top and bottom line. With autonomous P/L responsibility, you will be engaged in ongoing dialogue with the CEO, CFO and the rest of the management team, and playing an important part of engaging and guiding a strong and ambitious team.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree within commercial studies, preferably with some financial qualifications or training and has minimum three to four years of experience from a similar position. You have a background within technology and data, and experience from either management consulting, analysis or business intelligence companies is seen as a huge plus. With a strategic and commercial mindset, you know how to oversee logistics, develop new business and operations and ensure profitability, and you hold a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning. By keeping up with latest trends, tools and developments, you understand the rising opportunities of technology and data in relation to monitoring and analysing the global media picture across print, web, SoMe and broadcast, and subsequently make use of your insights to develop business processes and commercial growth. To succeed in the position, it is essential that you hold a strong technical understanding and have solid experience with driving impactful commercial initiatives related to data- and analytical services, hence you possess a distinctive understanding of analytical and data facilities.
